FINISHING TOUCHES

Peel and Stick wallpaper is not recommended for areas with high humidity or in direct contact with water. We recommend Performance Vinyl for these areas. Removable wallpapers work best on smooth finished or painted surfaces, so avoid applying over raw surfaces, unsealed wood or plywood.

Peel and Stick wallpaper applies best to painted walls in a finish with slight luster like satin or eggshell. Flat and matte paints work well too but tend to be a more porous, so the wallpaper can sometimes adhere stronger than usual to these surfaces.

Ideal for any commercial or high-end residential project, this traditional type of wallpaper is unpasted, meaning a wallpaper paste is necessary to achieve your final look.

We recommend clear strippable adhesives which will offer a strong hold and make any future removal easier and cleaner than with other pastes. Always prep walls before installation with a compatible primer to ensure proper surface hold and longevity.

IT'S IN THE DETAILS

Wallcoverings should be installed as a finishing procedure in the design. Never apply a wallcovering if there are important construction, painting or general remodeling projects still in progress.

Surfaces to be covered must be clean, smooth, dry and structurally sound. Loose paint or other wallcoverings must be removed. In order to ensure maximum smoothness of installation, nail heads, nicks, gouges and other surface imperfections should be filled, sanded smooth, and sealed.
